Now, delicious strawberries for snacks between meals can provide your body with even more than it needs. But it's not just that—this will be a Strawberry Mousse with whipped fresh cheese, designed to deliver the most incredible flavor without compromising your vegetarian goal, and to give you a tasty dessert without leaving the healthy side.
It is initially important to highlight that strawberries are rich in antioxidants and minerals such as manganese, magnesium, and potassium, in addition to containing vitamin C, B2, B3, and folic acid. Now, how do we incorporate this powerful fruit into a dessert? It begins with approximately 500 grams, washed and chopped beforehand. Then, place them in a food processor or blender until a strawberry paste is obtained. To this paste, add whipped fresh cheese or alternatively Greek yogurt. Once a homogeneous mixture is achieved, transfer it to a pot, add sheets of agar-agar (a vegan alternative to gelatin) or flavorless gelatine, according to preference. Once it reaches a boil, turn off the heat and distribute it into small molds or one large mold, allowing it to cool at room temperature. When cooled, place it in the refrigerator for approximately 2 hours. Then, enjoy your delicious mousse.
The most amazing thing is that for a 50g serving, the mousse contains only 17 calories, making it a beneficial, healthy dessert that contributes to your figure without disrupting your desired balanced diet.
