Chia water is a traditional Central American drink that provides the benefits of this special seed. Soaking the seeds in water gives them a gelatinous texture. Mixed with lemonade and a touch of agave syrup, it creates a refreshing and healthy option to enjoy anytime during the day.
Chia seeds are soaked in a cup of water for a few minutes, then mixed with lemon and agave syrup.
Once macerated, they are combined with the lemonade and refrigerated.
Before serving, stir to distribute the seeds evenly in the pitcher and glasses.
